The Model 3 and Model Y have a single curved rear window that must be shrunk and fitted in one piece, and the glass roof lets in enough heat that owners notice it on the first sunny day. We fit SunTek ceramic film to the roof, rear glass, side windows and windshield strip, using patterns cut for each Tesla model and hand-finished on the car. Ceramic rejects heat without a mirror finish, has no metal so it cannot interfere with the car's antennas or Autopilot cameras, and carries our lifetime warranty against fading, peeling and bubbling.
